Product description

What matters in intensive poultry farming is a good start and Lavipan GEL was designed specifically to give chicks a good start. This product ensures a quick hydration of chicks, which is crucial after the stress caused by their transportation and placement. Glucose provides easily accessible energy that activates the digestive system and stimulates a faster eating rate. Lavipan GEL also colonises the gut with five strains of lactic acid bacteria, forming a biological shield against pathogens. Vitamin D3 and polyphenols from olives strengthen immunity and the intestinal battier, reducing oxidative stress. Betaine and glucose additionally support metabolism and the water-electrolyte balance. The result? Stable and balanced farming from the very first day.

Working principle

Effective colonisation of the digestive tract

Five carefully selected strains of lactic acid bacteria that have a synergistic effect and form a biological protective shield:

  • L. plantarum helps maintain a tight intestinal barrier, inhibiting the growth of E. coli and Salmonella.
  • E. faecium reduces the number of Clostridium and Campylobacter, and stimulates the production of IgA.
  • P. pentosaceus strengthens the intestinal barrier.
  • L. mesenteroides produces EPS, increases the production of mucin and supports detoxification.
  • L. rhamnosus stabilises the pH, improves digestion and limits the growth of pathogens. 

Antioxidant and immunological protection

Polyphenols from olives support the body in its fight with oxidative stress and increase the resistance of mucous membranes.
