Feed contaminated with mycotoxins is a common problem that negatively affects animal health and productivity. ToxControl Advance has an innovative formula that works on multiple levels – it not only binds and removes toxins, but also supports the digestive tract and detoxification mechanisms in the body. A unique feature of this product are microencapsulated lactic acid bacteria (LAB) that have the ability to biotransform toxins. Thanks to resistance to high temperatures and stomach acid, the bacteria multiply in the intestines, producing enzymes that break mycotoxins down into less harmful metabolites. Moreover, MOS and beta-glucans contained in yeast cell walls act as an effective sorbent of mycotoxins and limit the adhesion of pathogens to the intestinal epithelium. Bentonite, clinoptilolite and kaolinitic clay support adsorption of toxins produced by fungi and improve the assimilation of nutrients, whereas betaine, choline chloride and methionine support the functioning and regeneration of the liver, the key organ responsible for detoxification.
