Salmacid Active is an innovative water additive intended for pigs that works comprehensively on the animal digestive system. The right combination of organic acids effectively lowers the pH of the stomach, limiting the multiplication of pathogenic bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, Clostridium and Salmonella sp. The product improves the digestibility of proteins and increases the assimilation of nutrients, which results in better growth and physical condition of animals. Moreover, Salmacid Active supports water purification, reducing its infectious potential and ensuring the stability of the gut microbiota. Thanks to its liquid form, the product is easily administered through water systems, so it can act evenly and effectively all over the farm.

Active ingredients

Salmacid Active – Advanced water-soluble acidifier for pigs

Use per 1000 litres of water

Poultry: 0.5-1.0 litre

Pigs: 0.5-1.0 litre
If the product is administered through mixing dispensers, a stock solution needs to be prepared beforehand.

Recommended application scheme:

✔ Administer when the risk of gastrointestinal infections increases, for at least 2 weeks, especially when animals are weaned or moved.
✔ Pulse administration: Administer the acidifier for 7 days, then make a 7-day break.
✔ In facilities where animals are at risk of diarrhoea – it can be used continuously.
